Leading Men Lines

Nothing in life is quite like curling up and watching one of those classics that make your heart beat faster. So below I share some of my all time favorite lines from leading men of movies that I can watch over and over again.

“Here’s looking at you kid”
“Of the gin joints, in all the town, in all the world – she walks into mine”
 - Humphrey Boggart (Rick Blaine – Casablanca)
Casablanca will always be that movie where I weep copious tears and yell at the screen, “YOU PICKED THE WRONG GUY”

“Frankly my dear, I don’t give a damn”
“With enough courage – you can do without reputation”
"That’s what is wrong with you. You should be kissed often, and by someone who knows how”
 – Clark Gable (Rhett Butler – Gone With the Wind)
Loved the book, love the movie, have the poster up on my bedroom wall. Frankly my dears, I love Clark Gable - love him as Rhett even more

“I’m going to make him an offer he can’t refuse”
 – Marlon Brando (Don Corleone – The Godfather)
This gives me chills whenever I hear it. I was passionately in love with Brandon at his 'sex-symbol' stage in the 1950's - but my god this role was honestly his very very best

“Carpei Diem, Seize the day boys! Make your lives extraordinary”
– Robin Williams (John Keating  - The Dead Poets Society)
Williams is an extraordinary actor - and this movie is a wonderful inspirational. I never fail to cry at the end when the boys get up on the desk and say, "O' Captain, my Captain"

"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light and not our darkness that most frightens us"
-  Samuel L. Jackson (Ken Carter* - Coach Carter)
This quote is one of my all time favorite, amazing, powerful and awe inspiring. The movie is incredible - not your average sports movie!
*I'm wrong apparently - this quote is from another character. I need to re-watch the movie and correct this!
